A year ago I stayed at Max with two friends of mine. Probably this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at on distances between Singapore & Chicago and Helsinki & Buenos Aires. I did really enjoy it. I liked the cathedral bells sounding in this quiet place when I was falling asleep, I appreciated an absolute natural hospitality showed by the owner, I liked the strange feeling of becoming a real piranian and many other things which made me feel happy. Unfortunately this year I could not stay there due to some business obligations. One good thing: the other night a had a chance to come and have a friendly talk with the guy who runs the hotel. Everything was still the same: his warmth, city's quietness, our shots of local "slivovka" and even his inevitable scooter, which looks like it has just drove out from the scenes of the "Roman Vocations". Nice talks, best grappa and all this stuff… Lesson! – Next time in Piran – Max only!

We have just returned from a 3-day stay in Trieste/Piran. The two days spent in Hotel Max were very comfortable. Max, himself, was very welcoming and produced a very good breakfast each morning. Hotel has been renovated so very modern but it has not lost its charm. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We spent a lovely S. Valentine's Day in Piran and, as usual, the atmosphere at Max hotel was cosy and romantic. Thank you Max! 🙂

Ein wunderbares Hotel mit traumhaftem Ausblick und wunderbarer Verpflegung. Danke, das im grauen November noch viele Sonnenstrahlen in Piran unsere Herzen erwärmten. Alles Gute! Helga 😀

We had a relaxing time in Piran. Nice hotel, good breakfast. If we pass Slovenia again, we come back to hotel Max.

Had a fantastic 4 nights at Hotel Max, Piran itself is lovely with plenty to see and do along various lovely resturants! The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms fantasic! A special mention also has to go to the staff who were very friendly and extremely helpful! Thank you for a great break.

Such a wonderful place to be…. Max is doing the maximum for his guests. Wonderful fresh breakfast. A supersize adress…. 🙂 Max also know the very best place to be in Piran. Believe me, you will love him! Happy new Year !

A beautiful location to relax. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Piran itself is a great place to visit, with good walking, eating and drinking. We were lucky to have glorious weather throughout. The Kompas tour to Venice is a little pricey, but worth it. The view of the city from the water wonderful. Thanks Max, we would come back again tomorrow if we could 🙂

We spent 3 nights – honeymoon- at Hotel in July. Thank you very much everything. It was great and excellent! The hotel is lovely and the breakfast it was super. Max, the hungarian PÁLINKA it was good? 🙂
